Ano 2400.

No futuro, a Terra se transformou em Verty — um planeta idealizado, governado pelo opulento Rei X, um líder inexorável, firmemente enraizado em valores tradicionais e devoto do deus Eros, o salvador da humanidade. Amor, identidade e liberdade são moldados por dogmas intransponíveis.

Shell, filha adotiva do rei, nunca se sentiu parte daquele mundo. Prisioneira de um corpo que não reconhece como seu e de uma sociedade que não aceita diferenças, encontra refúgio nos livros e no grupo dos Sete, do qual faz parte — seus amigos da Academia de Belas Artes de Gênova.

Entretanto, na noite em que completa 300 anos, o que deveria ser sua celebração mais íntima e libertadora transforma-se em um pesadelo. Shell e seus amigos despertam em um quarto branco, aprisionados em um ritual obscuro transmitido em tempo real para toda a galáxia. Aquilo que parecia um castigo divino esconde um propósito ainda mais sombrio — e o Rei X pode ser a peça-chave de um jogo muito maior do que qualquer um imagina.

Year 2400.

In the future, Earth has become Verty — an idealized planet ruled by the opulent King X, an inexorable leader, firmly rooted in traditional values ​​and devoted to the god Eros, the savior of humanity. Love, identity and freedom are shaped by insurmountable dogmas.

Shell, the king's adopted daughter, has never felt part of that world. Prisoner of a body she does not recognize as her own and of a society that does not accept differences, she finds refuge in books and in the group of the Seven, of which she is a member — her friends from the Academy of Fine Arts of Genoa.

However, on the night of her 300th birthday, what should be her most intimate and liberating celebration turns into a nightmare. Shell and her friends wake up in a white room, trapped in a dark ritual broadcast in real time to the entire galaxy. What seemed like divine punishment hides an even darker purpose — and King X may be the key piece in a game much bigger than anyone imagines.

Convida-nos a refletir sobre as escolhas que fazemos hoje e as consequências que elas podem gerar no futuro. Questões como eugenia, controle midiático, opressão de minorias, identidade de gênero, fanatismo religioso, abuso, repressão sexual, discriminação, manipulação política, dependência digital, entre outras, entrelaçam-se em uma trama intensa e provocadora. E agora, você também pode fazer parte dessa história.

Verty Society is not just a dystopian fiction book: it is a literary manifesto in defense of Freedom, Diversity and Inclusion.

Both the book and the Verty Society project celebrate fundamental values ​​that currently face resistance in many parts of the world. Since its inception, the proposal has always been to create a space where diverse voices could be heard and where creativity could flourish, promoting the acceptance and appreciation of all identities.

It invites us to reflect on the choices we make today and the consequences they may generate in the future. Issues such as eugenics, media control, oppression of minorities, gender identity, religious fanaticism, abuse, sexual repression, discrimination, political manipulation, digital addiction, among others, are intertwined in an intense and provocative plot. And now, you can also be part of this story.

Para viabilizar integralmente a editoração e impressão do livro, será necessário arrecadar R$ 69 mil. Iniciaremos a campanha com a Meta 1, no valor de R$ 34 mil. Ao alcançá-la, abriremos a Meta 2, de R$ 35 mil.

Fénelon Tartari é o autor da obra literária e idealizador do projeto Verty Society.

Fénelon Tartari is the author of the literary work and creator of the Verty Society project.

"Verty Society is a fantasy but with a severe critique of our current society and its behavior. A warning of something that could become real if we do not change as a society."

In addition to being a writer, Fénelon is an advertising professional with over 15 years of experience. However, writing has become his greatest passion.

Verty Society is more than a book — it is a collective artistic experience. To expand this universe, Fénelon brought together 18 artists from different parts of the world — women, men, trans people, gays, lesbians, black people, immigrants, refugees and people with physical disabilities — all of whom are a fundamental part of this journey.

Each artist contributed a unique vision to illustrate the story. Together, they bring to life the Verty Gallery — a visual exhibition within the work itself, where the diversity of styles and references forms a fascinating mosaic that amplifies the impact of the narrative.
