O Basquete Cruzada oferece atividades esportivas, culturais e de entretenimento. As ações são destinadas às crianças e adolescentes que residem na comunidade e adjacências, promovendo o exercício da cidadania e reduzindo a situação de vulnerabilidade social, a que são expostos.
Para não precisar parar com nenhuma das atividades, contamos com a sua participação na campanha, investindo no projeto!
Acreditamos que a educação e o esporte são o caminho para fazer a diferença na história das famílias que participam do projeto, gerando impacto social positivo na comunidade. Por isso, embora tenhamos diversas dificuldades para conseguir dar continuidade às atividades oferecidas na comunidade, não desistimos de continuar o projeto que já existe há 21 anos.
Atualmente não contamos com nenhuma parceria/patrocínio recorrente de empresas ou organizações. Todas as nossas atividades oferecidas na comunidade são realizadas graças ao trabalho de voluntários que apoiam o nosso projeto. Entretanto, muitas vezes os voluntários não conseguem dar continuidade ao trabalho, por terem necessidades financeiras que os obrigam priorizar outros trabalhos. Além disso, temos muitos custos operacionais para o projeto continuar acontecendo, que infelizmente, não estamos conseguindo pagar mensalmente.
Mesmo com toda as dificuldades, seguimos unidos e fazendo acontecer.
Nosso time conta com 30 voluntários.
Precisamos unir mais forças para conseguirmos continuar as atividades que já realizamos, podendo assim tirar do papel todos os projetos, objetivos e sonhos do BC e de alguma forma contribuir e gerar impacto a todos que de maneira direta e indireta serão beneficiados pelo Basquete Cruzada.
Hoje temos no projeto cerca de 150 crianças e adolescentes que participam de maneira circular pelas seguintes atividades:

Basquete Cruzada (Cruzada Basketball) provides access to sporting and cultural activities, as well as entertainment. Children and teenagers who live in the local community and its surrounding areas are the aim of the project, which promotes citizenship empowerment and reduces the social vulnerability that they face.
We believe education and sports are the means to make a difference in the history of the families who participate in the project and to generate positive social impact for the community. That is why, even though we have faced many adversities to push the project forward, we have not given up on it. Basquete Cruzada is now 21 years old.
Currently, we do not have any permanent sponsorship by private businesses or organizations. Every activity we carry out in the community is done by volunteers who support the project. However, oftentimes, the volunteers must interrupt their work in order to prioritize their own financial obligations. Furthermore, there are many operational costs that we unfortunately struggle to meet every month. So that we do not need to interrupt any of the activities, we need your participation in the campaign, investing in the project!
Despite all the difficulties, we keep moving forward.
Our team is comprised of 30 volunteers.
We must gather forces to maintain the activities that are already going on and to create new programs, establish new goals and realize new dreams for our community. This is how we can contribute and generate impact for all who benefit from Basquete Cruzada, both directly and indirectly.
