Durante 8 horas, no dia 19 de novembro, os 21 andares do Edifício serão tomados por manifestações artísticas e culturais. Dentre as mais de 400 salas comerciais do Tijucas, escritórios de advocacia, consultórios médicos e ateliês se transformarão em palcos para mostras, performances e happenings.
For 8 hours, on 19 November, the 21-storey building will be taken for artistic and cultural events.
Among the more than 400 business rooms of Tijucas, law firms, medical offices and studios will become stages for shows, performances and happenings.
A primeira edição ocorreu em 2013, quando criativos decidiram abrir o edifício para o público no impulso de propor a ocupação dos ateliês de arte, bem como o envolvimento geral de seus residentes, locatários, artistas e parceiros. No ano seguinte, todas as salas foram convidadas a participar. No decorrer de suas três edições, o Tijucão já movimentou um público de aproximadamente 5 mil pessoas. Foram mais de 130 artistas envolvidos em 90 salas abertas.
Para 2016 a proposta é transbordar: ocupar não apenas o Edifício, mas seu entorno - com uma programação plural que irá abranger o espaço privado e público. Nesta edição, o evento começa nas ruas, com shows, grafitti ao vivo, vagas-vivas e performances. A programação interna do edifício acontecerá das 13h às 18h com exposições de artistas, performances e surpresas em seus 21 andares.
O evento é aberto ao público, com entrada livre.
The first edition took place in 2013, when creative decided to open the building to the public, proposing the occupation of art studios, and the general involvement of residents, artists and partners. The following year, all the rooms were invited to participate. During its three editions, Tijucão has handled an audience of about 5000 people. There were more than 130 artists involved in 90 open rooms.
For 2016 the proposal is overflowing: occupy not only the building, but its surroundings - with a plural programming that will include the private and public space. In this edition, the event begins in the streets, with shows, live graffiti, live-outs and performances. The internal programming of the building will take place from 13h to 18h with exhibitions of artists, performances and surprises in its 21 floors.
The event is open to the public with free admission.

A criação do evento se dá de forma orgânica, a partir de uma co-criação que conta com a participação de artistas, produtores e entusiastas de forma voluntária.
Além disso, pela primeira vez, oferece Laboratórios de Criação - oficinas de conteúdo teórico-prático nas áreas de Produção Cultural, Comunicação e Mídias Sociais, Curadoria Artística, Vídeo e Fotografia. Os participantes atuam de forma direta na construção do evento, com a supervisão dos profissionais referência que ministram os Labs.
The creation of the event occurs organically, from a co-creation that has the participation of artists, producers and voluntarily enthusiasts.
Localizado no centro da cidade, em plena Boca Maldita, o Edifício Tijucas é um dos prédios mais antigos de Curitiba. Fundado em 1958, foi considerado um dos prédios mais altos e modernos da época.
É considerado um importante pólo de cultura em Curitiba, com alto potencial criativo e valor histórico para a cidade.
