No total, o curso dura 2 anos.

English version:
My name is Ana Lucia Arigoni de Souza, I'm 24 years old and I am cellist from Porto Alegre, Brazil. Thanks for visiting my page! I am currently completing my Bachelor of Music at the University of the Arts Bremen, Germany, and this year, was the only Brazilian musician accepted for the Masters programmes at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where I will begin studying from September. The RAM was founded in 1822 and is one of the most world-renowned music schools : there are 700 students from about 40 different countries studying there.
Studying at the Royal Academy of Music is the dream of many musicians, but unfortunately, a very expensive reality. The Masters degree costs £22,000 per year, not counting living expenses, transportation and food. The course lasts for 2 years. One semester at the RAM is equivalent to 60,000 Brazilian reais; one year 120,000 reais and two years 240,000 reais. I am pleased to have received a partial scholarship, but despite this, raising the rest of the money is a very big ask. I would be so grateful for any donation, big or small in order to help me make my dream a reality.
£1.00 = R$5.70 €1.00 = R$4.30
London, besides being a city of great musical tradition, is a centre of immense diversity and cultural exchange; which plays a vital role in the formation of young professional musicians. My goal is to improve my cello playing by immersing myself in this rich environment and then work both in an orchestra and as a teacher. I believe that music is a very powerful tool for social inclusion and development of self-esteem. It is my intention to use the knowledge and experience I will gain in order to encourage classical music education in Brazil and to make it accessible to everyone, regardless of their social background. It is my desire to help future Brazilian musicians to achieve their goals, further their horizons and reach their potential. During my studies in the UK, I plan to write a blog, where I will share experiences, and make a guide for music students on how to study at a conservatory abroad.
If I reach the initial target of £5,250.00, I get all of the money for this project, if not, the money will return to the supporters. That is why every contribuition is extremely important! Even if you choose not to contribute, you can help a great deal just by sharing this page on social media!
